WCM Physician Honored for Work Against Elder Abuse and Neglect

Dr. Mark S. Lachs, the director of the Center for Aging Research and Clinical Care at ÍøÆسԹÏ, has been recognized for his work against elder abuse and neglect.

Dr. Lachs, who is also the co-director of the Division of Geriatrics and Palliative Care, was recently named one of Next Avenue's , a list of advocates, researchers, thought leaders, innovators, writers and experts who "push beyond traditional boundaries and change our understanding of what it means to grow older."

The publication highlighted Dr. Lachs' dedication to disenfranchised patients as well as his work involving older adults.
